SYNOPTIC SITUATION
A high over the Tasman Sea will move east, slowly weakening the ridge on the
southern coast. A weak trough should move north onto the southeast coast from
New South Wales during Friday.

FORECAST FOR MORETON BAY
Friday until midnight: Wind: SW/NW 10 knots, tending SE 10/15 knots throughout
by late morning. Sea: 0.7 metre. Possible isolated showers later.
Saturday: N/NE winds 10/15 knots very early morning, increasing to 15/20 knots
by late morning. Sea: 0.7 to 0.9 metre. Isolated showers.
Sunday: N/NW 10/15 knots.

DOUBLE ISLAND POINT TO POINT DANGER
Friday until midnight: NW 10/15 knots before a 10/15 knot SE change extending
from southern waters this morning and reaching 15/20 knots south of Cape
Moreton. Sea: to 1.7 metres. Isolated showers near and after the change.
Saturday: N/NE winds 10/15 knots very early morning, increasing to N/NE 15/20
knots by sunrise and increasing to 20/25 knots south of Cape Moreton in the
afternoon. Sea: 1.7 metres, rising to 2.2 metres south of Cape Moreton.
Isolated showers.
Sunday: N/NW 15/20 knots.
